What you will learn
Through this workshop you will:
- establish your three main goals for the workshop (just three – to keep it manageable)
- decide what gear you need (and what you don't - you might be surprised)
- know what to look for to get the best photos – and start taking photos you are happier with by the second lesson
- learn what strategies to take so you can consistently capture your kids' natural expressions and joyful moments

- slip into some easy habits so that your photos are more creative and fun
- discover amazing things you can do with your smartphone camera (so don't feel bad if it's the camera you use the most)
- get more out of your point-and-shoot or DSLR (because you probably paid good money for it)
- understand what settings to use and the best positioning and angles to get the most out of the light you have available
- have some fun with some different project ideas and themes
- set up a system so your photos organize themselves (this is a must!) and are backed up (finally – peace of mind!)
- try simple after-the-fact tricks to transform an ok photo into a keeper or a good one into a great one! (expensive software purchase not required)

- start a photo-a-day project that can be shared online as well as easily printed each month
- finally get your photos printed, framed and displayed in your home using step-by-step instructions
- find your own path to photosanity by creating a plan for organizing and sharing that is fun, realistic and easy to implement - it does not have to be overwhelming!
- have fun, laugh, discover new things you never knew your camera could do and take your photographic enjoyment to a new level! (plus your mother-in-law will also get off your case about sending her more photos to show off to her friends)
